Portland aka the City of Roses is definitely by far the cleanest city that we have ever been to in the states. It has been referred to as the most environmentally friendly or "green" city in the United States, and the 2nd most in the world. Houses by the waterfront. You can see people cycling around the city. Beautiful seaport. Weather was nice just a bit chilly. There are actually colors everywhere. I miss seeing the greens.
波特兰又名玫瑰城市是我们到过美国的城市中最干净之一。让我觉得比新加坡还干净。它被称为最环保的或“绿色城市”在美国，及第二届世界上最。你可以到处看到单车。美丽的海滨。天气是有点冷可是还好。
Journey from Mountain Home to Portland is about 8 hours. And along the way, we experienced all kinds of weather. Snowy, rainy, sunny and foggy. You name it. Road was quite icy and slippery at one point. It's a good thing we changed ours to traction tires. We reached Portland at about 3+pm and then right away after check in and loading our luggages, we went off to downtown Portland and settled at Bamboo Sushi for our dinner.
